Pre-wendler my Back squat was 265 so anything above that is a win.  My PR is 275.  I think I’m still 1 or 2 wendler cycles away from PR-ing though.

Front Squat I am hoping for 215 which would be quite lower than my PR of 236.  We’ll see where it goes!

WOD looks a little annoying in the sense that I’m really great at DU’s but not so much in front squat.  In fact, if I get a score of 4 I’ll be really impressed with myself.  We’ll see how I feel.

Results:

Back Squat:  NEW PR!  280lbs.  Video Below.  I am fairly sure I got to at least parallel but the fact that I question it means I have to try to get lower in the future.  Also of note: this is my first time lifting with a belt, I liked it a lot.

Front Squat:  Hit 215 and failed at 225.  It is my core failing not my legs.  Not sure if I was fatigued at all from the back squats.  Either way this is something I have to continue to work on.

METCON: Got to 4+28 (4 complete rounds and 10 Front squats with 18 DU’s).  Not great but not as horrible as I thought either.  I’m sure my depth was suspect on some reps while fine on others.

Followed this up with a nice leisurely 2.25 mile run with Digital Mustard.
