As simple as this question is, I offer a new way of thinking about it. Fat has always had a negative connotation to it, when you were a kid you made fun of the fat kid (you are full of crap if you say you didn’t, even if it wasn’t to someones face), to this day you still see a large person and think a negative thought. This site aims to redefine “fat”, I will keep the negative connotation but it is my hope that I can change your, and my, perception that it is strictly visual.
FAT APPEARANCE
Of course one simply can not define fat without the appearance definition. But let’s not just say a “large” person is fat, a person who starves themselves or eats unhealthy is also fat. Healthy does not mean having a 6 pack, healthy looks can be a weight that you have in mind that makes you feel comfortable. Pay little attention to BMI, just get a point where your looks do not impede other aspects of your life, and gives you the confidence to put yourself out there.
FAT THOUGHTS
Your thoughts can be fat. Negative thoughts can make your brain fat, those thoughts will hold you back just as much as your weight can hold you back. Although “new age” “The Secret” type thinking alone will get you no where (If you think that just staring a vision board will get you everything you want you’re psychotic) those ideas along with a great work ethic and a fair bit of luck WILL get you what you want. Changing your mind set will help you get healthy.

FAT!
FAT EFFORT
Do you push yourself? Or do you simply get the job done without extra effort? In my experience doing the minimum will get you through life, but will not put your mind at ease. Fat effort will lead to unhealthy habits and spread from one part of your life to another. If you put in fat effort at work, what is to stop you from putting in that same effort when raising your child, or on the golf course? There will be multiple posts on how to put out a healthy effort in various parts of your life.
It is my hope that I can find some content that will help make you healthy and not feel as if you’re a fatty. Reform yourself into the person you’ve always wanted to be.
